Ever since COVID-19 has erupted, many of things has gone to a standstill. Our education included. COVID-19 robbed us of our livelihood and of so many things important to most of us. Now that we have started a new school year, this signifies a recovery of education that was once halted before, now will continue and combat whatever struggles we may come upon to face in this time of the pandemic.
During this time, students are forced to comply into the new normal of studying, completely different from going to school and having lessons there. Because of the pandemic, us students have to normalize studying in a different way than the usual. However, there are two sides of a coin. There are both positive and negative responses on the quality education given by the Department of Education. The positive thing is, we get to start another year, studying and learning. Unfortunately, on the negative side, is that some modes of learning do not provide effectiveness on one’s learning and that there happen to be complications and struggles appearing on certain school activities. The whole school year faces many problems and the future remains uncertain. We may not know what problems will arise and how the school year will go by as time passes. How far can we go? How long can the quality of education be sustained? Regardless, we should put in mind that so many try hard to provide us students a better quality of education amidst the pandemic.
Nevertheless, the quality of education is not as bad and it feels nice knowing that teachers try their best to provide quality education and learning. Though we are walking through a rocky road right now, this school year will be able to get through a tough time and will become successful.
In case you happen to feel unmotivated, discouraged, or sad, know that it's okay and sometimes you just need to slow down your pace for a little while. You are a wonderful being! At the end of the day, whenever you feel tired, remind yourself you have done a good job and that you deserve a rest for being awesome. Sometimes you just gotta pat yourself in the back and take a deep breath. It can be hard sometimes, know God is here and whatever you are going through right now, you will make it out! Fighting!
