Violetta Fiesta

Celebrating festivals are one of so many things that will always be present no matter what. Annual festivals are one of the things many people look forward to, to have fun, spend time with loved ones and celebrate. It is part of our culture and I can’t see any more reasons not to celebrate it.

Vigan city is a very festive city and not to mention, how fun the festivals are celebrated there. It is so accomplishing to be able to be having festivals amidst COVID-19 as it is tradition to celebrate them every year. Yet with all the fun and excitement that goes with it, comes with danger as well. As the virus is still around, we are not completely safe and chances are, more people will get infected with the virus. But if safety protocols are followed, we can enjoy and have fun safely. It is nice to see that we still are able to celebrate festivals as this proves nothing can stop us from doing traditions.

Our current situation may make us feel discouraged and sad, but knowing that we can still celebrate amidst it, will surely lessen a bit of burden we have on our backs and will surely bring lots of smiles to many faces.
